Uses

On my Personal Laptop (a second-hand Dell XPS 13, with 8GB of RAM), I use Niri window manager¹ on NixOS. On my Work Laptop, I use Niri on NixOS. My server uses NixOS as well!

My browser of choice² is Librewolf.

For code forge, when I have a choice, I go with Sourcehut and Codeberg.

My favorite editor is Helix³.

I use migadu for my Emails.

I use Miniflux for following blogs and newsletters, on the server-side and the app “Reeder” as a client on my iPhone.

I usually use Github’s Monaspace fonts for my coding and laptop. but I also utilize Atkinson Hyperlegible type-faces and Sour Gummy fonts for my blog.

I usually store my passwords using gopass and unix password-store.

I program in Rust (like this website), but my first language was Go. I also learned and used Elixir, but I don’t use it anymore since the ecosystem is just so fascinated with all the latest hypes, instead of retaining the people that they already have.

My favorite interactive shell is Fish. But I also have been using Nushell sucessfully for while now and might take the place of Fish real soon!

My terminal emulator is Foot, but I sometimes use wezterm.

I recently got into jujutsu (jj) instead of using git and I’m all the better for it!
